About Me
My name is Mersadi Kramer, and I am a Registered Nurse currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Population Health Management at the University of Florida. I currently work in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit, caring for critically ill patients while gaining experience in leadership, evidence-based practice, and healthcare quality improvement.
My professional interests include emergency preparedness, population health management, health equity, healthcare systems improvement, and community health. Through both nursing and public health, I hope to contribute to stronger healthcare systems and improved health outcomes at both the individual and population levels.

Applied Practice Experience
I am currently completing my Applied Practical Experience with the Florida Department of Health in Lee County. This internship provides hands-on experience in public health preparedness, emergency planning, and community health initiatives.

Assist with reviewing and developing emergency preparedness documents, including Incident Action Plans (IAPs) and supporting response materials used during public health emergencies and preparedness exercises.

Review emergency operations plans and examine public health roles, responsibilities, and coordination strategies used to support emergency response and community preparedness efforts.
